So far, no sign. “Come home now! It’s been a while…” Then she looked down, and saw a sight she wish she could forget. “No… please ancestors, no!” She rushed over to Estelle, who lay motionless on the ground, blood pouring from several wounds, coating her beautiful brown pelt in a thick red ooze. “Who could do this to an innocent kitten?!?” She grabbed her by the neck, gently picking her up. “Let’s get you to Kala… she can help.” As she approached her best friend’s door, she was greeted by the same sight as when she was a kitten herself. A magnificent ivy archway curved around the large opening to the den, with a small plank of wood hanging from it, that read “Medic” and a large red plus. “Hey Jenny! What’s up?” Her friend greeted, smiling until she noticed the injured cub in Jenny’s mouth. “Oh…” ~~~~~~~~Some time (and explanation) later…~~~~~~~ “Do you have any idea how it happened?” Kala asked, taking a closer look at Estelle’s wounds and thinking of a cure. “I don’t know…” Jenny confessed, “I just found her this morning-” “Wait! She’s moving!” She interrupted, seeing the kitten run in her sleep.. - Inside Estelle’s mind - *A dark claw grabbed me, it’s claws ferociously cutting my skin. I tried to run away, but… but its face haunts me.*
