Even though she was only eleven, she knew very well that the sun disappeared eleven years ago, and to be exact, the day she was born. Aspen didn’t like to think about it too much, because for some reason, she got chills whenever she did, as if there was a gust of wind that just passed by. /Well, I'm sure there's an explanation...I just don't have the slightest clue what that explanation is./ She walked over to a pair of curtains and opened them. Behind the curtains was an astrological chart. Aspen ran her finger down the chart, then stopped and tapped where a big cluster of stars were. “According to my chart, it’s supposed to be morning right now, so I guess I should go downstairs to eat breakfast,” she said to herself, rolling up the chart and bringing it downstairs with her. -----------------------------------------------------------------
