arrow keys to adjust difficulty in menu up to move forwards left and right to turn down to go backwards avoid the lasers pick up powerups (they fade after 5s and can be destroyed by lasers) survive as long as you can also the screen gets smaller bc why not powerups: heart - extra life x2 - doubles score shield - invincibility for 10s effortless: 3 lives lasers wait for a while before spawning powerups spawn often the screen shrinks slower lower limit for screen size is around 75 % average: 2 lives lasers wait before spawning powerups spawn screen shrinks lower limit for screen is about 65 % impossible: 1 life lasers wait briefly before spawning powerups don't spawn screen shrinks quickly lower limit for screen is about 30 % btw when you move your score increases faster everyone does this but for some reason it still works
