✎♡ Genderfae is a term for a type of gender identity which is fluid between multiple genders, but never male or masculine genders. ✎♡ ✎♡ The fae are beings of legend, specifically in European folklore. They are also called fairies, the fair folk, etc., and for some people who would otherwise be genderfae, alternate terms like genderdoe and genderthil were created out of respect for people who believe in them. ✎♡ ✎♡ A reason it is called "fae" is because it also is used to describe how generally a fairy (according to more modern-culture) would think about their gender. ✎♡
