Made in 1.5 hours, grade 9. Given class instructions: Checklist: - Does PacMan move in the correct direction when right / left / up / down arrows are pressed? - Do the “number of apples left to catch” appear on the screen and start at 10? - Do the “number of apples left to catch” decrease by one each time PacMan catches a fruit? - Does PacMan stop moving when he hits the wall? - Does “game over” appear when PacMan wins the game? - Does the “time elapsed” display on screen when the game is over? - Does a suitable “sound” or music play while the game is running? Extension: - Find one or more new fruits for PacMan to eat. - Find a new background that is suitable for this game. - Play a sound when PacMan catches a fruit. - Change the “game over” script so that it says “Game over… you lose” when PacMan hits the wall, or “Game over… you win!” when PacMan wins the game. I would've remade the actual pacman inside Scratch, but that would've taken WAY too long considering that at the time of writing this, this project is somewhat overdue.
