Name : Persephone or Passion Age: 11 in human years Story: Passions name was not always Passion as a matter of fact it was quite the opposite. Her mother died right after giving birth so she did not get to name her. Everyone started to call the adorable and lonely kit: Persephone with actually means One who brings death. Of course Persephone did not know that. She was always trying to get people to like her for her father was long gone he walked away just after her mother died. So she tried to help with cleaning, hunting, and she even gave gifts but nobody appreciated her. She lived in a sadness and would have had a cold heart except for her dreams, she always had the same dream ever since she could remember. Her mother looking walking alongside her her father by her other side walking into the sunset laughing. She could never really see them she just saw a outline but she knew it was them. One day after as she was playing in front of the nursery she saw out of the corner of her eye a glint of light in the woods. She trotted over to it and saw that it was a heart shaped necklace. She put it on and saw another glint of light. She found a ring, then a bracelet, and finally a crown. She eventually looked up and found that she had crossed the entire forest she started to panic and cry. A shadow appeared over her, she looked up and her little eyes widened when she saw a fox grinning at her. As there as she was she found energy to leap away. The fox chased after her growling and baring his teeth. A little rock happened to be in front of Persephone and she tripped flinging herself on the floor. She stumbled up panting and crying bleeding on her paw. She started limping as fast as she could to a small cave nearby. The fox caught up to her and grabbed her tail biting as hard as he could. She yelped a long sharp cry. Warm blood trickled onto the ground and the fox grinned again. She stumbled forward the pain blinding her. She knew she was done for. The fox was about to strike again and she whimpered tears falling as fast as the blood. She braced herself for the pain and then she heard a fearful roar. It was loud really really loud. She fainted. Hours later she woke up in soft a moss bed. She stood up and she examined her surroundings.this wasn't the nursery she realized. All the memories came back at her and she looked at her tail wondering why it wasn't hurting. Her eyes widened when she saw that her tail was as normal as ever a little bit of blood crusted around the healed place. She heard someone walk into the cave room and whirled around and she yelped backing into a corner when she saw the thing. Dun-Dun-Dunun (cliffhanger) Jk. W-who are you? She quietly wimpered. The she-wolf smiled calmly and replied My mother use to call me Sweetie but I think that's not really a name. Persephone was feeling a slight bit better so she asked what happened? Sweetie told her that as soon as she roared the scared fox ran away and then she took Persephone in this room and was going to bring her some food. At that Sweetie dragged in a large beaver and they feasted together. Persephone then asked what Sweetie had put on her tail and paw. Sweetie tilted her head and said that she had not done anything for her wounds. Persephone then pointed at her tail and paw. Sweetie nearly choked on her beaver she looked very surprised at the healed wounds not even a scar was left. Sweetie and Persephone stayed quiet for the rest of the meal. At the end Persephone finally whispered "Thanks for leading me here" Sweetie raised a eyebrow and tilted her head. What? She said. Persephone repeated louder. Sweetie responded by asking what she was talking about. Persephone told her the story of the jewelry. Another big shock. Sweetie had not put the jewelry there. Persephone left quietly to go and try to sort this out. She lay in her moss bed thinking and thinking. She felt a soft tap on her shoulder waking her up. She stood up and saw a beautiful cat with pink markings like her. Her eyes widened and her mouth opened she tried to say something but her throat could not work. She eventually stuttered out: M-M-Mom!? The cat nodded smiling. Persephone felt tears of joy fall down on the ground and she smiled running into her mothers arms. She hugged and hugged her breathing in the soft strawberry and lavender scent. She smiled up at her mother. Then she tilted her head and said How!?
