Rain Prologue Next: None Previous: None ~~~~~ Fade ran through the forest, jumping log after log. It was pouring, and although the trees would block the rain, it didn't help. He came to a stop near a large log, and panted. He looked up at the log towering over him, something he couldn't jump. He heard barking come from the way he came from, and tried to climb the log. He sunk his claws into the bark, and slowly made his way up. Once he reached from the top, he looked behind him too see a dark shadow coming toward him. He yelped, jumping down the other side of the log, only to land with a loud thump. The shadow quickly got up to the top, as Fade started to run again. He tried to pick up speed, but the shadow easily caught up to him. It knocked him down, and Fade slid in the mud. He looed up to the shadow, as it has it's paw raised ready to swipe. Fade closed his eyes, only to feel pain in his left ear. He yelped, as the shadow quickly got off him, leaving Fade in the rain. The blood oozed from his ear, as he laid in the mud. He felt the rain drip down on him as it faded to black.
