fancy fonts, fonts that are used to decorate and make one's bios and profile's look aesthetically pleasing. while this may make your work look pretty, it can actually be very wrong to use. disclaimer ; he fonts talked about do NOT include fonts used in edits, drawings + apps such as picsart, google docs etc. i am talking about fonts and font generators that you can copy and paste to almost anywhere. examples of such fonts can be any font on lingojam/cute kaomoji. these fonts dont actually do any harm to the eyes, but to those dyslexic, blind + visually impaired will not be able to read these. why? screenreaders and text-to-speech wont be able to work with these fonts. again, it is your account and you can do what you want, but think again. you can still make your bios aesthetically pleasing to EVERYONE without the fancy fonts. there are many ways to make your account pretty without fonts:) if you have these fonts, please please please take them out. it will help a million. if you have been educated about fonts and do not take them out, you may be seen as an abliest (discrimination towards disabled people) even if you do not intend to harm them. if you see others with fonts in their bios, dont hesitate to educate them! however, if they turn it into an argument, dont argue back + leave. i hope this educated you:)
