Plon // They/It // Plon was just an innocent water being who would often surface to the beaches and explore the land. Usually, they would never stay out for more than an hour. But one time, they lost track of time. Plon leapt through the trees, spraying water everywhere they went. They had been playing for quite a while now, making sure every plant got enough water to live. They didn't know what time it was. They saw the shoreline through the brush, and started heading towards it. Bounding over a tree, their paw slightly snagged on a branch. It had slowed them down just enough. Because their paw was made mostly of water, they got through it just fine, but just a minute too late. They had always been warned to never stay out for more than an hour at a time. Something corrupted their mind. They began to think differently, hear differently, see differently. Their thoughts desperately yearned to be submerged by the ocean once again, but their paws had other plans. They blacked out as their paws guided them to wherever they would go. They fell unconscious.
