So basically I was at IKEA. My mom wanted to get a plant for her desk at work and she saw these cute little snake plants, and knowing they're hard to kill, wanted to buy one. She picked one out and didn't like it so she put it back and started looking for a better one, but I felt bad for the other one she put back because it didn't deserve to be rejected like that so I convinced her to let /me/ have that one and she could get a 'better' one that she liked more. So obviously I gave it a name and pronouns. I decided he was The Chosen One and named him Ares after the Greek god of war to represent his strength and how he was my warrior. I am going to train him and he will grow to be the biggest snake plant ever grown from an IKEA baby plant :>
