To use the elevator, use it by pressing (a) button(s) Based on the ThyssenKrupp/Northern elevator at The Tech Museum in San Jose, California. ==== Fun facts about this elevator IRL ==== - This elevator originates from Canada. Yes, you heard that right. This Canadian elevator was imported from Canada and is one of the only few in the United States. - There are two sets of doors in this elevator. One rear, and one front. The rear one opens on the R floor (locked). Since you do not have a key, you must go to the logic room and input a call to floor R (Click See Inside). - The elevator is at The Tech Museum in San Jose. - This elevator was installed within the range of exactly 2005-2011. - This is an elevator made by Thyssen before its major merger with the Krupp company (known as ThyssenKrupp). - Actually, the directional lanterns do not light up, however, the feature was added to the project for decoration. The fact this condition exists may be due to the fact the majority of the lanterns are burnt out, manufactured without lights, or are just not wired. - The R floor is locked off to the public. You cannot go there without a key or permission.
