Delusional Artists is a social game where your goal is to come up with the most ridiculous piece of artistic expression based on a randomized prompt. Before rounds begin, players submit keywords to the randomizer. In each round, each player is given a randomized prompt. They then choose what type of piece they will base off the prompt: dramatic narration/monologue (in written text or improv sketch), song, drawing, sound imitation, or the other players' choice (which could be anything). The performing player fhen has 1 minute to complete their work of art. After all players have had a turn, they vote on which player made the most ridiculous (or "artistic") piece. Any player-submitted keywords from the winning prompt yields bonus points for the player who submitted the keyword. Then the next round begins, and the game continues like so until the agreed-upon number of rounds is completed. Final scores are counted, and the player with the highest score wins the game, as well as the honorable title of Most Delusional Artist. Yay! :D
This online version of the game is meant to be utilized by a single host player, either in person or by livestreaming the web browser (similar to Jackbox). The host keeps track of steps in each round & inputs votes and any custom keyword submissions. The game generates prompts & keeps player scores.
