• Themes of Literature • Hello there - welcome to my July 2022 SWC leader application! The theme presented here is "Themes in Literature" except it's put out in Chinese characters. The idea came from me just looking for themes surrounding literature, and I found this! I didn't know how I was going to display the themes, so Zai suggested that I made them into Chinese characters. Also my timezone is PST and my pronouns are she/her. Every bubble has different characters on it. Above the bubble you will see there is the pinyin of the character(s) and under the bubble you will find the theme it represents. All you need to do is use the arrows to navigate and click on the bubble with the character on it to access an answer. If you would like to know which answer you are clicking on, click the arrow at the top of the screen, it'll show you <3 - - - The music is all Studio Ghibli, but here I present to you the composers of each song: ☇ Kiki's Delivery Service - Umi No Mieru Machi Piano Joe Hisaishi & Paul Chihara ☇ Howl's Moving Castle - Merry-Go-Round of Life Joe Hisaishi & Youmi Kimura ☇ Nausicäa of the Valley of the Wind - Kaze no Tani no Naushika Haruomi Hosono & Joe Hisaishi ☇ My Neighbor Totoro - Stroll Joe Hisaishi ☇ Porco Rosso - Toki ni wa Joe Hisaishi & Tokiko Kato ☇ Kiki's Delivery Service - Toki ni wa Joe Hisaishi & Paul Chihara ☇ Spirited Away - Inochi No Namae Joe Hisaishi & Youmi Kimura ☇ Whisper of the Heart - Take Me Home Yuji Nomi ☇ From Up on Poppy Hill - Sayonara no Natsu Satoshi Takebe ☇ Kiki's Delivery Service - Message By Rouge Joe Hisaishi & Paul Chihara ☇ The Secret World of Arriety - Arriety's Song Cécile Corbel ☇ Howl's Moving Castle - Promise of the World Joe Hisaishi & Youmi Kimura ☇ Grave of Fireflies - Promise of the World Michio Mamiya & Yoshi Mamiya All of these pieces are truly beautiful, and it was unfortunately very difficult to find those who covered the songs ^^' To make it equitable I put the composers, but many thank yous to those who covered them <3 And here is the continuation to my excerpt which you can find here: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/post/6152505/ - - - - Thank you to all the past and current hosts of SWC <3 - for floating code - for bubble code - for the arrow code - for the random song code - for inspiration on the transitions - because of the hidden jokes & for helping out with the code
