Hello again! Sorry it took me so long to make this part. I definitely want to continue this series, the upcoming Anti Sonic Saga, and the Adventures in Prosper Continued series. Not entirely sure about the other ones, so just let me know which ones you still want to see.
{Sol Dimension, Royal Palace} Mephiles:*groans, before coming to. He stares at the ceiling, hearing voices he couldn't quite make out. Everything was blurry. He recounted past events, trying to find out what brought him here. Eventually, he settled on the conclusion that his rash and stupid decisions, likely caused by his recent failure---no, setback--that occurred just....how long had it been? Either way, he wouldn't have died from his own power. He should still be in that burning village. But then, why was there a blanket on him? Before he could ponder any further, the voice suddenly became clear and, to his annoyance, he recognized the voice from when he was last conscious* ???: ...And then, Emerald almost fell in after me! It took us a full 10 minutes to stop laughing! *turning, Mephiles saw the same girl from before; the two dark ponytails dipped in a teal glow, the bright red dress with white frills, the long cat tail...the gem sitting atop her forehead* I loved those-- Mephiles: Where--*tries to speak, but coughing just comes out* --where am--*coughs more* ???: Oh, dear! *the girl wraps her gloves around a glass of hot tea sitting on a pretty little dresser nearby and holds it close to Mephiles' chin until he took it* Here you go--well, if you can drink it, I mean. How can you talk? You know, without a mouth. Mephiles: *doesn't answer; he puts the glass up to his mouth, letting the liquid spill onto his chin where it disappeared behind an odd ripple that formed where his mouth should have been. He clears his throat, to find the girl staring at him wide-eyed* {Press Space} ???: Wow... Mephiles: *groans and shoves the glass back into her hands* ???: *carefully puts it away, seemingly oblivious to the gesture* So. What's your name? Mephiles: ...*Doesn't respond at first, and instead looks around; the room was a deep, expensive purple with gold trimming. Beautiful murals were carved into the ceiling, and a large chandelier was hanging from it with many flames dotting it's glittering form. This girl was clearly rich, and likely important. Up until now, he was wondering whether or not he could destroy her. Now, he understood her as an asset. He does, after all, intend to strike back. If she and her family are gifted with riches--as it's unlikely a little girl would own a fortune for herself--then they could be useful. Still, he doesn't know where he is, and the heroes are likely looking everywhere for him. After a few moments, he decides he'll need to earn her trust without revealing himself* I'm....Allister. ???: Great name! We don't have names like that here in Aedrift. Are you from a different land of some kind? Mephiles: *has no idea what she means, but pretends to* Yes. Very far away. I was traveling by sea when my ship crashed. I don't know what happened after that. I just remember a golden glow...and then there you were. I'm sorry I yelled at you before. *he lied* ???: Oh, that's okay! I'm Ruby, princess of Sol! *she turns sheepish* Oh, but I guess you knew that. Mephiles: ..Of course. But hold on--I'm inside your castle? Ruby: *waves it off* Oh, yeah. My father wants you to, if you're physically able, come join him for dinner to see whether or not you're a threat. Mephiles: *he pretends to be resolute, but secretly mulls it over. Since she does have a father, it would be greater to have influence over him rather than her. However, she's still a good back-up as children are easy to influence* I feel well enough, I suppose. *it felt good to be deceiving again, as in reality he couldn't even feel his legs let alone move them* Ruby: *jumps up from her stool* Great! I'll go inform Marian that you're awake. He'll help you find your way when it's time. See you at dinner! *she strolls off, skipping to the door and stopping on the other side of it, half way closed* Bye, Mr. Allister. *closes the door* Mephiles: *as soon as she was gone, he began to ponder the strange occurences. In all his time spent traversing the timeline, he has never heard of a land called Sol. His only conclusion was that he was in some different planet or, considering the circumstances of how he found his way here, dimension. Until he could find the chaos emeralds and Iblis to merge once again, or until he found a way to return to his dimension and exact revenge, he promised--a very rare thing for him to not break, but he decided he would make an exception as he was promising himself--that he would go along with this. For now*
