Hello and welcome to another project! Here you can drive your car on a highway, but be careful not to bump into obstacles! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Instructions ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ - The car follows your mouse! Switch between lanes to avoid bumping into things. - Press keys 0 to 9 to change the color of your car. - If you bump into something, you lose. To try again, simply press the blue button! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Notes ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ - You may need to press the green flag or "try again" button twice. - This is @corinamaria's first project where @corinamaria used Cloud variables! For a first try, @corinamaria would say it went pretty well. - This was inspired by the SDS "Road Trip". - Credits: ~ @corinamaria for some code and all art. ~ Music is from the Scratch sound library, edited by @corinamaria.
I remixed @corinamaria's project and made it a bit better. The original was pretty good but had some bugs including a bug that would spawn in item in the middle of the road and would be completely unavoidable, and it was very common. I also made it so every obstacle and decoration was each a separate clone. And I also made the controls smoother.
