Side project on optimizing Lone to have a lower sprite count and to have less bugs because of my better experience with coding now than 1 year ago around when Lone (Solo then) was released. Has now become a main project. Completely remaking Lone in all aspects except for the following: • Costumes/art • Sounds • Hotbar • Save/Load System And more recent features!
Dev Log: InDev 0.1: Basic Lone with a new health bar, fixed game, and menu implementation. Decided to make the bullet a different sprite, having bullet, player, and enemy on the same sprite turned out to be too complicated. InDev 0.2: Better damage system and menu changes to allow for the existence of Settings and Shop. InDev 0.3: Added maps and map selection and started preparations for future updates. Currently working on: Difficulties and coin system To do: - Organized shop (with items) - Ported hotbar system - Organized settings - More maps - Difficulties Current bugs: - Enemies “collide” with healthbar (don’t know how its even possible, healthbar is drawn by pen) and can sometimes cause you to take damage (damage cause is known) Man the original Lone is so messy.
