Stitch is based on a stuffed cat a friend gave me, this friend's name was Charlie (or Charlyin). Charlie was a trans girl, and shortly after publicly announcing that they were trans and supporting the fight against haters, Charlie was murdered along with a few other pridefriends. Charlie left nothing behind but a permanent hole in my heart and that little stuffed cat, well loved and lonely. So I stitched it up, fixed its loose button eye, and named it Stitch. The hole in my heart may not be filled again, but its patched by the difference Charlie made. This is dedicated to Charlie, who isn't here with us today, but will always look after us from above ༊*·˚
