When you press the green flag, please press it multiple times to prevent the enemies from glitching. Use WASD or the arrow keys to move. If you jump up against a wall, you can do a wall jump where you jump up the wall. With floating platforms, you can jump through the bottom and land up on top. To attack press J K or L to do different things. Press J to send a fireball: takes up 1 mana and does the least amount of damage. Press K to strike with lightning: takes up 2 mana and does a good amount of damage. Press L to take out the entire screen with one blast: takes up 8 mana and defeats any enemy in one hit (besides the boss). Mana is like your attacking points, it regenerates, but when it runs out you will have to wait to be able to attack again. Use it wisely! Avoid enemies and their attacks, and try to defeat them. Beware of their lasers! If you see one that looks layered, they can sometimes be invincible, so be careful! Try to beat the boss without getting defeated!
