『BĮɑçĸ âņď Ŵɧɩŧɘ ~ An Ɇ₴₵₳₱Ɇ Room』 Instructions: (NOT MOBILE FRIENDLY!) This is an escape room. Escape. Move your mouse around and click, I guess? You'll find patterns and only a few (Thank GOD!) math problems. If you hover your mouse over something you can interact with, it will change "color." Stuff: 1. There is no point system or timer, so take as long as you want. And because it's relatively easy to find the answers, I'm not doing a cloud variable. And I WAS going to put a "see inside" detector (based off mouse x and mouse y), but what if somebody clicked the fullscreen button or randomly clicked somewhere else? 2. THIS GAME WAS SO FUN TO MAKE. Don't believe me? Then ask... me. It was. And it didn't take that long, surprisingly. 3. There are a few interactions that are NOT NEEDED, but they MAY help you. 4. There are... - 1,291 blocks - 22 broadcast messages - 23 variables (at least two of which are useless, I don't want to go back and check if I've used them. ;-;) - 31 sprites (all of which are used) - 0 backgrounds XD (well, there's the default background but in this project, I didn't ever use the "change background" block) - 163 costumes in all of the sprites - at least 10+ hours of blood, sweat, and tears into this project (Ok, fine. I'm exaggerating, but I did work on this project for at least 10 hours) 5. Credits: - @chipm0nk for the contest (yes, this is an entry for chipm0nk's 10k Chip Jam, and it's also was originally intended to be for something else in my personal life, but due to privacy issues, I'm not going to share that detail...) - @chipm0nk for chip's main costume (which I edited, obviously) - Me (@captain_Kestrel) for all of the art (not including Chip, of course) - Me (@captain_Kestrel) for all of the animation - Me (@captain Kestrel) for the "gameplay" (the planning and stuff like that) - Fesliyan Studios for the beyond amazing music! ⭐⭐⭐Hints⭐⭐⭐ - Click around (obviously) - There's another room... which you need to go into to pass... (unless you are me, which you are not, or if you cheat and somehow go find the code) - Some clues have multiple uses... for example, the "Die" poster might have a back to it... (It doesn't mean Die, it's a homonym...) Oh, and because it originally was intended for something else, it's not a remix. Sorry... Tags, ignore. Wow... you still look beyond all of these tags? Here's an extra special hint, but if you comment this into the comments, I will report that. Here's the hint: The first digit to the password to freedom is 0. Digits might repeat... :) Good Luck!
Oh, I forgot to mention... in the beginning of the game, just keep pressing... Everyone(a lot of people) keeps saying that this is too hard, so here are a few more hints that LITERALLY WILL ENSURE THAT YOU WILL ESCAPE. It is highly recommended to first try playing it before you give up. And also, if the there's a screen that doesn't say anything and you have no idea what to do, just hold down your mouse and release it. Walkthrough below (after the hints)! (I put some stuff here because the instructions wouldn't let me keep writing.) Hints: (No, they're actually hints.) - A few things are useless, like the potted plant. - Again, you need to go into the second room in order to find the password to escape. - Literally press everything that turns a different shade. - Some things can be pressed multiple times and give you different messages... like the post-it note that says "Peel." That gives a PrEtTy big hint about the order of the numbers you should find. - Some things may be separate "objects", but look the same. (Like in the second room, there's a drawer... and the stand itself...) Walkthrough: 1. Press the broken clock. It says that the message will disappear in TWO SECONDS. What's the time? 2. Press the "DIE" poster. It actually will flip and show a die (as in singular dice). Press that, it will show a die and will disappear in ONE SECOND. What's the face that's pointing up? 3. Press the "Hello" mat. Why? Because there's something underneath, duh. Then press that slip of paper and solve the math problem. It will disappear in THREE SECONDS. 4. Do your thing with the "Peel" post-it. The top layer should peel off; press the bottom one. It gives a hint, and states something like "The password to the other room is in this order: ONE SECOND WAIT, TWO SECOND WAIT, THREE SECOND WAIT." 5. You should be able to figure it out by now. If you can't, then welp. 6. Go into the other room, you should see: A painting, a rug, a drawer, and a set of curtains. 7. Press the painting. It should rotate, and then press the note underneath. It should state that escape digit is 4 digits long, and the first digit is the multiple of all of your numbers on your keypad. (0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) 8. Press the curtains. They should move out of the way, and then press Chip. He should eventually say something like: "The second digit is the multiple of (1/2)(2/3)(3/4)(4/5)(25)." Keep pressing. He also should reveal the 3rd digit... join the FIRST TWO DIGITS of the pin into the room(if the pin was 163, you'd divide 16 by 8, and that's the second digit) you should be in divided by 8. 8. Don't press the rug, it's useless. Instead, press the BOTTOM DRAWER, not the whole drawer stand thing itself. It should reveal a stain on the bottom... that would be your 4th digit. 9. Now you have the whole pin! Enter it in, and you'll escape! Just keep clicking next... once you see Chip again, you know you've won! Wait what- somebody advertised... this is literally the first time somebody has ever advertised on any of my projects ._. (6/4/2022) In a way it's an accomplishment yet it's kind of rude... just don't click it. And I'm not deleting it, but to be honest, I don't really know why.
