But as he grew into an older teen, dangers around his homeland were escalating, and he had to do something about the dark creatures roaming around. After a great fight, the shadowy forces retreated, only to return with even more might than ever. Ultimately, the kingdom was invaded by the great army of the Shadow Queen, the nefarious ruler of the Dark Forces. Villages, marketplaces, and even the great castles were all set ablaze. Prince Gabriel had to give up his father’s throne after the Queen had brutally taken it from him. As a part of the terms for mercy, the Queen allowed Gabriel to serve under her and fight for the Dark Forces. Day after day, week after week, Gabriel’s colleagues—and even the Queen—push him around like a slave, and to this day, he only wants to escape their clutches and bring his old kingdom back to its former glory.
