POV: 3rd Person Iskall Iskall had allowed his mind to wander for who knows how long. But, he knew he had to get up when the sun’s path hit his eye. Squinting and carefully pulling himself upright, the swede cradled his right arm against his abdomen with his left arm over the both. The room hadn’t changed at all since X had left, but it felt different. He huffed and stood up, learning his lesson and balancing himself this time by holding on to the side of the bed. Once he felt stable on his feet, he released his grasp and stretched carefully, popping most of his joints. With a sigh of relief, he rolled his neck and headed over to the drawer across the room. Iskall’s boots were neatly put to the side, seemingly clean. Opening the first drawer, he chuckled with a smile. All of his things were neatly arranged with a note on top. Unfolding it with his left hand and leaning against the drawer he read it. ‘Looks like you’re impatient! Lucky for me I know that. But, it’s gonna take more than finding your things to get my approval to head off. Naughty child. :D <3 ̶D̶a̶ Xisuma ‘ Iskal chuckled and pocketed the note before equipping himself with everything he had with him. But, getting his shoes on was a struggle. It hurt to bend over, it hurt to squat, it hurt to lift his leg, and it basically hurt to do everything. He had sat back down on the bed in an attempt to put his shoes on, but seemed to be failing. Iskall took a few deep breaths and leaned his head back., propping himself up with his shoulders. Should he ask X for health or regen potion before he headed off? Ah, X probably wouldn’t allow him to head off in the first place. Something was shoved onto his foot and Iskall let out a yelp. Out of reflex he kicked hard, but something caught his attempt. Looking down at his feet, X held onto the one he had lashed out with a raised eyebrow. Iskall let out a breath of relief before slumping all the way back onto the bed. “X~” he wined, covering his eyes with his left arm, “You scared me.” “Sorry mate,” the other chuckled, resuming his work on helping the Swede with his boots, “I thought I heard you making a racket up here.” “I was not.” he protested, looking back at X, who had finished tying his boot laces. “Just loud enough for me to hear you.” the brit said, offering a hand and helping the swede to his feet. “Now, why are you all suited up?” Iskall took a moment to balance himself before grabbing what he needed and heading to the door. “I need to find the others.” X didn’t hesitate to follow as Iskall made his way out the room and down the halls. “The others? But mate, you’re not even fully healed. Or halfway healed!” he protested. The two bickered as they made their way to the entrance of the base, and till they got to the front door. X held Iskall by the shoulders and turned to face him. “I can’t let you go out. Not in this state, and not without supervision.” the older stated. “X, I’ll be fine! There’s no reason to worry.” Iskall chuckled before wincing and holding his side. X shook his head. (Continue to Notes and Credits)
(Continued from Instructions) Before either of them could utter another word, the sound of meowing and scratching drifted from the door. Letting go of Iskall, X turned his head and leaned closer to the front door, confirming that’s where the sound had come from. Cracking the door open slightly he peeked out. Neither of them had the time to react before a striped grey fuzzball slinked her way into the room, seemingly happy to be inside. Iskall took a step back, hand on the hilt of his dagger before realizing who it was as X closed the door. “Jellie!” the brit said with a chuckle, picking up said cat “what on Earth are you doing here? Why aren’t you with Scar?” Jellie purred as she snuggled against the admin, rubbing her head against his cheek. Iskall moved his hand away from the dagger and moved towards them. “Hey Jellie-” Iskall said with a tired smile. He stroked her head with his somewhat calloused hand. At one point, his hand made contact with something other than her fur. Iskall’s brows furrowed, and he moved to inspect it. Tucked under her collar, was a note written on what seemed to be old looking paper. Pulling it out and unfolding it, both X and Iskall peered at what it contained. “It looks to be like Scar’s-” Xisuma said before it even unfolded fully. “How do you know-?” Iskall said, looking down at the signature and writing which was surely Scar’s. X chuckled. “When you’re the admin of a server for so many years, you’ll be able to tell apart the paper that each person uses.” Iskall shook his head with a smile and looked at Scar's loopy and somewhat elegant writing with several spelling mistakes. “Dear X and Iskall, Stress, Mumbo, and Grian are all at my base, safe. I’m not sure what happened but there are creepy cloked guys after you from what I’ve heard? Noone is seriously hurt, but Grian said that you had it pretty badly. Whenever you can, please come over to my base. X if your reading, can you please peek into the code before I try anything with my magic? Thank you -GTWS P.S, Please bring Jellie back home.” “Wait, Grian?” Iskall questioned, looking up at X, “He’s a cat, he can’t talk.-” “Welp, there’s only one way to find out-” the admin said with a sigh. Grabbing his helmet and securing it on, X gathered what he needed and picked Jellie back up before leading Iskall out the door, and towards mister Good Times With Scar’s base. ____________________________________________ I'm sorry!!
