STUDIO DESCRIPTION- In this studio, you will be transported into the magical world of Caraval full of mystery and wonder. This will be a game full of riddles and wonder. Just awaiting the perfect players... If you want to join you must meet the following standards... - If you were invited, you automatically can either watch from the sidelines or get the full experience. -If you follow me soon enough, you get first dibs. -If you fill out the form soon enough, you can join as well. Just because you are not in the game doesn’t mean you do not get the same opportunities. Your experience will just be “safer.” There are also our performers, they will guide you on your journey through Caraval. But if you join the experience, you will not know what to trust and what is just the game. So be careful. For more information on what Caraval is, look up Caraval on your browser, or read the book by Stephanie Garber. Now let’s get into the game... {“Welcome!” A dark-skinned girl on a unicycle pedaled out from behind a rose-covered carousal. “I am a performer. I am here to guide you through the wonderful and magical world of caraval!” Brilliant gold-blue sparks suddenly appear from behind her. Yet as she waits for the expected applause that never comes, she frowned a bit. “Do you not know what Caraval is?” A shake of heads whimpers through the crowd. “Well,” she pauses, the frown still lingering “I better tell you!” Her positive foxlike demeanor returns as she pedals and moves her feet, motioning for the crowd to follow. This is Caraval. The traveling -magic- carnival! As we move each year, we present special tickets to each of the locals.” she winks at the crowd “and you get to make a special decision” her happy mood turns dark as she continues “you can either join the game and participate for a magical prize at a cost...” the crowd leans in, hanging to her every dripping word awaiting the bloodsucking “or” “or you can watch and enjoy your time here with us!” She chirps happily, as if satisfied with her impression, then cycles away leaving the crowd to make its decision.} -Remember... It’s just a game- NOW... to business PARTICIPANTS. -This will have multiple play along projects where you must follow along each week gaining clue after clue, or just simply enjoying yourself in the world of Caraval. This is a partner activity, where once we have at least 10–20 (this may grow) people you will be... -Paired with someone/ Be able to work independently -Be given a comment stream where you can discuss (with partner-if you chose to do partners/with me-if you chose to be independent) There will be a special code of some sort at the end of the game for you to tell me. At the end of the last month that we do this... I will announce winners and give them their prize. Be sure that you are mentally prepared for this if you chose to Participate! WATCHERS. -You will do the same thing as the other participants. You just aren’t competing for the prize because you weren’t selected to compete. You will also be in a different studio.
