The night skies were filled with bright stars and remote dull stars. As he walked he noticed he was leaving shiny spectral white pawprints in the starry path. He was exploring above Egypt when he saw it. It was the constellation of the Desert Rose. He noticed that one star was unusually brighter than the others surrounding it. As he padded over to the constellation, his spectral pawsteps kept getting brighter. Finally, he reached the Desert Rose constellation. He slowly reached out his paw, fearing if he held it or even touched it, the bright star would burn him. He quickly pulled his paw back, his fear overcoming him, but he decided that he wouldn't let his fear take over him, so he took a deep breath and held out his paw, closing his eyes. When he touched the star, he immediately felt warmth surging through him, and drew back his paw. He took one more deep breath and held out his paw. This time instead of touching it he held it in his paw. As it was in his paw it started to glow brighter, but he heard some voice in his mind that told him to set it down, and unfortunately he obeyed. What he didn't know was the star held his destiny, and the voice wasn't just his mind it was an ancient, evil spirit....
