Raspberry's family died, but Raspberry was kept alive if the animus named them. The animus chose Icarus. The animus later cursed them to be bird-like, as they have always wanted a pet bird. But wanted an intelligent one. He still wanted them to be a dragon though, so that's why Icarus got to stay part dragon. // "What do you mean my name is Icarus? It was Raspberry, wasn- Alright, fine. press space or tap the dragon to view the dragons :D I use years in dragon, not human. funky art style go brr notes for characters I forgot to put in bio after posting: Thelduin once had his life saved by a raven, before he went fully insane. A dragon was trying to kill him when he snapped, but a raven flew down and pecked that dragon's eyes out. No one knows why the bird did it, but it allowed Thelduin to escape. He was generous, so he enchanted the bird with intelligence and long life. However, the magic had two effects he did not see. The bird, who named himself Bladgen, lost all the color in the feathers and gained the ability to predict specific events. Bladgen cannot know the future but perhaps can sense what is to come. In any case, he always speaks in riddles, most of which are a fair share of nonsense. Just remember that if Bladgen ever comes to you and tells you something that is not a joke or a pun, you would do well to heed his words. Disclaimer: (Bladgen does not hold big importance in the lore of Quiet Nightmares, but might occasionally appear with Icarus or Thelduin.) Thelduin does not understand why dragons and other creatures are named after plants or other animals. He thinks it's stupid
