-How to play- Click the roll button to roll the dice. If you get the combo you want, click the bottom of the screen to show your score card. Then click a box to mark it. If you don't get what you want, click 'roll' again. Click the dice to set it aside so you don't re-roll it. You can only roll 3 times. On the 3rd roll, you have to mark something on your score card. If your dice don't fit into any empty box, enter a zero in one of the boxes. The goal is to get enough points and minimal zeros to obtain a high score. -Upper section- The boxes correspond to numbers 1 through 6. The score for each box is the sum of all corresponding dice. -Lower section- The boxes correspond to various combos: 3 of a kind and 4 of a kind are self explanatory. To score them, simply add together all the dice. Full house is 3 of a number and 2 of another number. A full house is always worth 25 points. 4 Straight is 4 consecutive dice. It's worth 30 points. 5 Straight is 5 consecutive dice. It's worth 40 points. Chance adds up all of the dice values, regardless of combo. Yahtzee is 5 of a kind. It's worth 50 points. If you get multiple Yahtzee's, score them in the Yahtzee Bonus box. You can mark Yahtzee Bonus 3 times, and each time it's worth 100 points.
The only difference to real Yahtzee is that there is no Joker rule. Small straight is call s. straight and large straight is called L. straight. This is so the text fits on the buttons. Music from Super Mario 64 DS. The choice of music has nothing to do with Yahtzee. It's just a catchy song.
