(I wrote some updates like a month ago and then procrastinated up until now- so :'D ) I didn’t realize how much some of you appreciated and took inspiration from my art until I was reading all of those final goodbye comments. Nor did I realize how much I would miss posting art dumps until I couldn’t make them anymore. So I decided to go ahead and make one of these and post some updates while I’m at it. ‘^-^ Since I left Scratch I’ve had a lot of time to myself, most of which I spent doing chores, going on walks, chilling, doodling, thinking, learning cursive, mastering the art of the toaster pancake, engaging in more meaningful conversations with my family, looking into various job opportunities, finding educational YouTube videos, planning a garden, and working on my health (which, for the moment, my body isn’t in intense daily pain). It took some time, but eventually I was able to find some social opportunities too. By chance I stumbled across a young but growing community, becoming one of its first supporting members. I also reconnected with an old friend from Scratch by somehow recognizing their art style. And my mom has forced her daughters to interact with a friend’s daughters, thus forming a very awkward group of shy teenagers. :’) I've also been looking into some sort of physical job opportunities, preferably something outdoors working with animals, plants, or possibly children. (Or if I could find someone who would pay me to draw cute animals all day I’d happily go for that instead-). Oh, and I drove a car once. That is, before it started trembling in fear and broke down in an abandoned parking lot. So my parents did the reasonable thing and bought a fancy newish car with a rare paint color for their children to practice driving with. :') Nonetheless, driving has been somewhat fun despite the initial terror (as long as I'm going 25 mph or below). As for art, you can see that I’ve started drawing once again. At first I tried to do a bunch of random fun doodles, doing whatever I felt like at the time. I’ve slowly worked myself back into some bigger projects. But I’ve definitely been enjoying my doodles and sketches the most lately, which I’ve tried to fit into my day as much as possible! What has seemed to inspire me the most to finish artworks lately is being able to create for others, because I know that the person I made it for would find it the most meaningful (and also because having a strict deadline helps me complete projects faster). I hope you all are doing well out there! Thank you for reading my ramble. Goodbye again for now. <3 - Snow
