Decided I won’t finish ee Contains - violence, ketchup, mentions of cannibalism, and vulgar language (I cut it out of the song) ----------------------------------------------------------------- Story ----------------------------------------------------------------- There were two kingdoms in the far west, where the shrubs were scattered everywhere, and anything you could see was sand, rocks, and the occasional tumbleweed. But if you traveled far enough, you would find two kingdoms next to each other by a great distance, and the land around it was a paradise. The trees hung with fruit, the land was fertile and lush, and there were glimmering aqua blue pools of water scattered around. The two kingdoms, however, were not at good terms with each other. There was the bug kingdom, best known for their stingers, ability to pollenate, make delicious food out of honey, and their greatest weapon, a bug that could easily kill anyone with just a slash of her intoxicating claws. The reptile kingdom was known for their viciousness, their thick claws able to slice through skin, their rough, scaly pelts, and their fangs able to inject a paralyzing toxin into anyone they bite. The prince of the reptile kingdom walked close to the border one day and came across a pretty bug named "Rhubarb". (a rhubarb is a really good fruit often used for pie, but if the leaves are eaten a human can be intoxicated and could possibly die.) To make a long story short, Rhubarb was a princess of the bug kingdom, and also the bug that had toxins in her claws. The reptile prince introduced himself as Taipan. They fell in love, got married, and united the bug and reptile kingdom into one. They had one child, a mix of a bug and reptile, named Cherry for her love of the fruit. Soon, as the years went on, both Taipan and Rhubarb died off from disease and old age, leaving Cherry to lead. She seemed like a benevolent and kind queen. One day, she went to check on the prison. One prisoner was really friendly, and they talked for a while. "C-can I feel your paw?" said the prisoner. Cherry seemed confused but let him feel it. "Sorry, it's been a while since I came in contact with someone..." Cherry laughed. The prisoner looked at his paw. "Oh! It seems like your claw was sticking out and nicked me..." Cherry looked and saw a trail of blood coming out of the prisoners' paw. "Oh, I'm sorry! I'll find some napkins!" When she came back, the prisoner cleaned off his paw. "By the way, I never got your name..." The prisoner smiled. "I was once called Treehopper." Suddenly, he dropped to the floor. "Are you okay? Guards, I need help...!" Treehopper was dead by sunrise. He apparently was poisoned badly. But from what? Did someone in the prison want revenge for something? Or... she looked at her claws. A small purple dot was at the top at each of her claws. Only cats in the bug kingdom who had the power to intoxicate had red dots on their claws. Her mother had purple-colored dots because she had a more powerful toxin. And it turns out that Cherry inherited this power. For a while she paced around her room, agitated. Then she stopped. With this power, she could stop the crimes and rebels inside her kingdom! And so, when a crime was made, she and the prisoner would go to the court. The guards would weaken (beat up) the prisoner, then leave them to Cherry, where she viciously slashed them with her claws. One day, as she was having dinner, she thought her food tasted... more delicious than usual. She asked her royal chef where he got the meat. He looked scared and backed away. "W-well there was this guy who gave me this bag of meat and said it would be the best thing the queen ever tasted." Well, they were right! The chef pointed her towards where the supplier was located. She turned towards a dark alley, where a door was at the end. Above the door was a sign that said "butcher". She walked slowly towards it and knocked. Once... twice... the door swung open. A reptile with fangs as long as her ears looked down at her. "Oh, Queen Cherry! I was expecting you! You must be looking for the meat! Come inside!" Cherry cautiously went in. It was actually nicer on the inside, with marble tile floors and an obsidian fireplace. She sat down and waited. "So, your Highness, you must be looking for the source of the meat, huh...?" He stopped and looked at her. "Well, I'll tell you. It's the meat of a bug who died recently." His eyes became slits, and he laughed manically. Cherry backed away. He turned around. "If you ever kill a bug, bring it to me, and I'll take care of it so that it's edible." Cherry ran out of the door. She looked around. It was sunset now. She needed to get back home. As she went to bed, she thought about the butchers offer. But after a while, all she could think about was how delicious that meat was. She needed more. And so, she silently gathered all of the bugs that weren't noticed... the ones that no one would remember. Continued down in credits ↓↓
Then, after she was done with them, she would send them to the butcher. Word got around the kingdom about some of the bugs who were a bit more popular than she thought. Then more investigated and learned about more of the missing bugs. Cherry knew the secret was going to come out soon. She sat down on a cliff and pondered on what she was going to do. She heard footsteps behind her. It was the whole kingdom, protesting about her doing nothing to find the missing bugs. She stood there, then turned around and started attacking. Everyone stood in shock, then started attacking her. Some fought them back, including the butcher. But then, as they were attacking, everyone observed how Cherry wasn’t doing that much to them, just slicing a bit of their skin with her claws. They continued fighting, until a bit later, someone dropped dead. So did a few more, until most of the cats were dead. The survivors looked around, shocked. Why? How? She couldn’t answer that. She looked down, for she had killed most of her kingdom. As she fell to the floor, the butcher slowly creeped up behind her, a large axe in his paw. “There’s a price for my services. And you haven’t paid me.” Cherry's eyes widened. ᑕᕼOᑭ! ————————————————————————— Whew, glad that parts over... Things used - My sleep from 5/31 - 6/1 - IbisPaintX - Scratch (animation) - FlipaClip (animation) - IPad 8 - Windows 10 - My soul References, inspirations, etc - A taipan (Cherry’s father) is actually a very venomous snake located in Australia and New Guinea. Taipan may have had venom in his fangs, thus possibly making Cherry’s much more dangerous. - A Rhubarb is a plant often used in baking. The leaves are highly toxic when consumed. I feel like you can tell I got names from traits in characters. - Reptiles such as lizards and iguanas usually eat bugs, which is where I got the idea of the bug kingdom. - The meat that introduced Cherry to bug meat actually belonged to the prisoner, Treehopper. Maybe if the butcher had told her who it was she was eating, she wouldn’t have ended up like this. ;)) - Favorite scene so far - butcher clutches ketchup bag suspiciously - Inspired by - @Shattered_Diamond I just realized how morbid I am...
