Welcome to my game for the kidOYO Deep Waters game jam! Also, ask questions for my Q&A: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/717148489 Instructions: Use arrow keys or mobile to move. The fish does not move horizontally with the mouse or arrows because it automatically swims horizontally. To enter the shop click on it. Click on it again to exit it. Collect coins to buy the fish. To buy the fish, click it if you have enough money, it will automatically be equipped. Otherwise, it will tell you you can’t buy it yet. If you want to equip a fish, click on it if you have bought it already. To move to the next and previous fish, click the arrows. In order to see if your fish is equipped, whichever one has a check mark showing is equipped, otherwise it has an X showing and it is not equipped. Avoid sharks, balls, boxes, and fire. M stands for meters and C stands for coins. Coins save until you click the stop sign or the flag. Took 1 week to make from start to finish, and 5-7 hours of coding and assets.

The fire was part of the cake costume from the Hatch library. The balls were also from the Hatch sprite library. The music is Prelude by TheFatRat. All other sounds are from the Scratch sound library. I used kidOYO courses for some resources. Everything else is by me. This was originally shared on June 26, 2022. Reshared July 20, 2022.
