somehow i wound up trying to do this part in blender. I don't quite get it either. But I'm liking it! So this is a work in progress but it probably doesn't look like a normal work in progress bc it's not animated set to the actual music yet i've just been working on a lot of the modeling and texturing for this before I get into the actual animation and wanted to A) show off kinda and B) make sure that this was OK? Particularly: I wasn't sure if you meant that the backgrounds should be shaded in the same colors as the foregrounds were or if the background should be pure greyscale. (Which I... can do although I really like the pink light filtering through the leaves.) I'm pretty sure I"m following the palette on the rest; I even figured out how to rig up the lighting so that it'll use specific colors from the palette in controlled blend modes rather than the normal rendered lighting. But... yeah. :D im so happy i actually mODELED A DOG IN BLENDER AND IT LOOKS OKAY HOW IS THIS HAPPENING :D
