Frogcat The frogcat is a rare species that lives anywhere with a generally warm, tropical climate. Frogcats are producers in the food chain, meaning they produce their own energy through photosynthesis, with the large leaf or flower producing from their head. As a result of their main food source being the sun, frogcats are only ever seen in their natural habitat, in warm, sunny weather. Otherwise, frogcats are likely to be sleeping and conserving their energy. Frogcats are believed to be a similar species to both frogs and cats, hence the name. Their light green and orange patterns on their body are the result of spending so much time in the sun. When frogcats don’t get enough sunlight, the colours on their body darken, and the leaf on their head may wither.
