======= VIEW HERE ======= https://turbowarp.org/700399250 scratch is still pretty slow when decoding video tbh ======= INSTRUCTIONS ======= if you want to load your own video 1. go to here https://52525rr.github.io/videoencoder/ 2. change the settings to how you want. - "threshold" is the quality setting. 0 means lossless and it gets lower quality the more you increased it (it also reduces the size). - "framerate" is the output framerate of the video if you want to save the video to scratch, the total size has to be under 5,200,000 bytes. so change those sliders until it works 3. click "choose file" then load a video file from your computer. the conversion process will begin automatically 4. once it finishes, the output appears in a text box. click the text box then press CTRL+A (or CMD+A) to select all the text then CTRL+C (or CMD+C) to copy it all 5. press space in the project, then paste in the text to the box and press enter 6. create a copy/remix the project (remember to give credit) in order to save it you may need to clear the cache variables in the project. the video conversion process is done in your browser. no EXE's required ======= CREDITS ======= the concept is *similar* to a video program made by @layzej (https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/88979905/ ) and @geotale (https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/564349334/ ) however, the video encoder and decoder was written by myself (with some help from them) and is different. video and audio used is the intro from spy x family: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_rWZK_8vUY this project's main purpose is to showcase my video player and a video encoder for users to upload their own videos.
