OIRT launched its third television channel, The Third Channel, on December 31, 1972. In 1974, it was decided that the OIRT would be broken up into smaller entities, including three separate organisations for each of the TV channels. The third channel would be operated by Scratchcie Gédéones E, or SGE for short, which would also take over OIRT's regional offices. OIRT ceased to be at the end of 1974, and the channels changed their names of January 6. The logo for SGE would be the name of the channel inside a blue hexagon, inside an eye. A large golden E replaced the eye logo in 1986. In 1987, SGE introduced its distincitve "eye" graphics. On February 4, 1991, SGE introduced a new look, and the "eyes" were confined to history. It was the last logo of SGE prior to its merger with Scratenne D (now known as Scratchcie D). In August 13, 2012, SGE got a revival and adopted the new logo, and a new set of idents. In December 20, 2020, SGE overcame a new look with new graphics. In December 1, 2021, SGE changed its new logo and graphics.
Thanks to studio992 for the original project IR3 is now SGE (a.k.a. SGE logo history (1972-present)) (First ever project on Scratch).
