[ About this project ] This is my last project for a couple of months. The first half of the meme is kind of lazy tho lol. I love this design!!!! It's so cute :D So I entered for them on impulse. Even if I don't win this character, I learned a lot in making this project, so it was worth it for me. [ Bio (if I win) ] Name - Alora Paisley Age - 12 Sexuality - Aroace Pronouns - They/Them (nb) Personality - Outgoing and friendly, daydreams a lot, but tends to overreact and not focus on the present. Backstory (heads up this is l o n g) - Ever since Alora was 8, they kept having horrible nightmares. In every dream, a girl made almost entirely of a sort of black ink did all sorts of horrible things to them, and sometimes, they could feel themself turning partially to that ink too. It affected their mood the next day. Their parents noticed this and sent them to therapy. But no amount of therapy washed away their trauma. One day, they woke up abruptly in the middle of the night, to realize that their nightmares had become real. Every night, the torture that had once been in their mind became quite real, and it scared them to death. But then, they realized the torture was getting less and less painful and on the last day of it, they went to sleep... and woke up in the clouds. Alora learned there that most people turned into those black ink people, and they were the first to still be human. They decided to stay there and try and stop those nightmares. (Also, about the bandaids? Two burns on their cheek and hand stayed, and whenever they made contact with anything, it hurt very badly. So they had to put them on to do regular things.) [ Critique for @dxscmfrt ] Your design is *perfection*! I think you put many important rules in that a lot of people forget, but I think the "don't use bases" and "use your own art" can be merged because they're technically the same (ex. USE YOUR OWN ART! No recoloring, tracing, stealing, or using bases allowed!) Also, try not to make a separate studio for the design rules, just keep it all in one place if you can :) [ Thank you for watching, see you all in August! :D ]
