The butterfly necklace gives him the power to see the past, the sun gives him the power to see the future, and the star gives him the power to open portals. After his sister left, Jay went to the same school that Buddy, Tigie, Blueberry Muffin, and Lola go to and became friends with them. However, he has recently started having more and more visions of the future and has gained the ability to see through and break the fourth wall, and he can communicate with The Illustrator.
