Title : STUPID MODERNIZATION !!!! 2008 MacPuarsa Holeless Hydraulic Elevator… Credits to everyone, but no kirk credits ! Brand : MacPuarsa (Installed by ALT). Year : February 2008. Type : Twin Piston Holeless Telescoping Hydraulic, digital controler. Modernized by Lift Specialists LTD in 2020. Location : Blôrk-Köpcentrum, Bromma, Sweden. Starter type : Solid state before the modernization, now, the motor is VF-controlled. Other : This modernization is HORRIBLE !!!! This one was an hydraulic MacPuarsa from 2008 !!! Most of the MacPuarsa are really bad, but this one was installed by ALT and this one is very reliable, except for the cheap MacPuarsa controller. Everything else is also cheap, but quite reliable and it used to have Schaefer BudgetLine buttons, which are better than MacPuarsa, Dewhurst, DMG or Lester Controls fixtures in terms of reliability and/or nice-looking design. Before the modernization, the buttonpanels, the directional indicators and the 7-segment floor indicators are from Hansen Hydraulisk Hiss AB. Now, the panels and the indicators are from Lester Controls. But, the Jambarrow is from MacPuarsa and this Jambarrow is original from 2008. Also, the car and the hydraulics are well-built. The motor is also EPIC !!! They shouldn’t modernize it into this GENERIC CR@#, THEY SHOULD ONLY REPLACE THE CONTROLLER WITH A S3 CONTROLLER !!! Indeed, the Lester Controls controller is VERY BADLY SET-UP AND VERY INEFFICIENT, COMPARED TO A S3 CONTROLLER !!!! And, this new controller is a new Lester Controls touch-screen controller and it has a 2D barcode system, which works like the Hansen Hydraulisk’s system, which uses a perforated steel bar and an infrared sensor (The infrared sensor works as a photocell). Those systems are used for known the car’s exact position and they can do intelligent levelling when set-up properly. BUT, WITH THIS MODERNIZATION, LIFT SPECIALISTS LTD WILL GIVE YOU THE JACKSON LIFT’S SPECIAL OFFER : THEY WILL GIVE YOU THE NEW LESTER CONTROLS WITHOUT INTELLIGENT LEVELLING !!!! The pump has also been VF-modernized and the valve was replaced with a VVF-iValve from Bucher Hydraulics but the pump is not replaced !!!! And the VF is from Magnetek and it works only when the elevator goes up to or when the elevator re-levels upwards. But, in every way, it takes AGES TO LEVEL !!!! BWEEEEURRR !!!! And it overruns and it re-levels upwards after it stops in every way !!!! BWEEEEURRR !!!! Also, it has a Lester voice !!!! BWEEEEURRR !!!! The fixtures are from Lester Controls !!!! BWEEEEURRR !!!! If you spam the door open button, it will repeats the direction message !!!! BWEEEEURRR !!!! If you spam the button of the floor where the car is it will repeats the direction message and the chime !!!! BWEEEURR !!!! After the start of the hydraulic motor, the ULTRA NOISY logic fan starts and when this logic fan stops, it makes a reboot and it says « This lift is out of service » and the reboot is EXTREMLY LONG !!!! BWEEEEURRR !!!! The startup is very long and it makes a BIG JOLT !!!! BWEEEEURRR !!!! If you hear an electrical buzz, the VF WASTES THE ELECTRICITY !!!! BWEEEEURRR !!!! The directional arrow of the LCD display blinks all the time, this arrow only shows the direction if the doors are locked and it only shows the direction of the Jambarrow before the elevator starts to move !!!! BWEEEEURRR !!!! The Jambarrow shows the actual direction all the time and that is not the case of the arrow of the Lester LCD indicator !!!! BWEEEEURRR !!!! The door sensors are connected to the door open button, so if you hold the door sensors, it will repeats the direction message !!!! BWEEEEURRR !!!! The door open button lit up when the voice says « Please mind the doors » and the button stays lited up until the doors re-opens or the doors are fully closed !!!! BWEEEEURRR !!!! And the motorsound is RUINED by the logic fan. BWEEEEURRR !!!! But, the sound of the startup is quite nice and this one is quite a bit more reliable !!! But the brand new Lester with a 2D barcode system on this hydraulic elevator won’t do any full-intelligent levelling on this one, but THIS SYSTEM WILL DO A LEVELLING WHICH IS WORSE THAN ANY CR@# BLIND VF TRACTION LEVELLING !!!! THANKS A LOT, LIFT SPECIALISTS LTD !!!! The mall has been built between March 2007 and February 2008. In 2016, a Safeline phone, a full-height door sensor and a voice unit were added Hissgruppen (The HG voice unit was replaced with a Lester voice unit). There also is a SUPER RARE OTIS 2000 H elevator with Expressevans buttons. This one is cheap, but, it has an EPIC motor and this one is completely original from May 2007 !!! This elevator was also installed by ALT, like all of the elevators on those buildings !!!
