"Hello!" "Sorry that it's been awhile. I recently decided to make use of the vacation days I had saved up." "Anyway, since our last meeting, you might have been a *little* confused as to the whole situation here. 'What is an Acus?' 'Who are the Weavers?' 'Why were you in a cafe?' Well wonder no more, as I have recieved permission to explain, well, our mission!" "A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away... from yours, I mean, there was a group of intelligent lifeforms called the Akrus. These beings were not humanoid, as a matter of fact, but were more like a cross between a Swiss-Army Knife and a Japanese Spider Crab." "What made them more astonishing than their appearance, however, was their incredible ability to advance technologically. Within a year of their existence, they had gone from crawling out haphazardly from the primordial soup, to a period somewhat like your history's renaissance." "As you can imagine, it only took them a few centuries beyond that point to reach the very peak of technology in their universe. With enlightenment came peace, and soon, the whole planet was united under one, incredibly powerful banner. Left with most every question answered, most every blank filled, the Akrus race as a whole decided there was only one remaining course of action..." "Ascension." "At once, the Akrus scientists began work on how to break the barriers between your universe, and what you might call 'Heaven,' which took them an incredibly exciting week and a half." "As the very first Akrus' made arrived in the place above all places, the CREATOR told them that they and their entire race would be smote for their intrusion. Heaven was meant solely for the purest of humanity. And the Akrus were neither pure,(*) nor human in the very slightest." "At hearing this, the first Akrus' got down on their most knee-like appendages and begged and prayed to their deity to spare their people. The CREATOR, being a very merciful God, took pity on them at the sound of their pleas." "At once, he transformed their crab-like bodies into that of a human. With humanity gained, all that remained for the Akrus to be saved was purity." "The CREATOR gave these first Akrus' a long and arduous task. They were to justly maintain a multiverse until the very last light on the very last of their worlds had gone out, and in each of the universes, keep humanity alive, so the other races may be blessed through them." "Then, the CREATOR renamed their race the Acus, and cast them from the Heavenly Plane. He subsequently sent the rest of their race along with them, and placed them in an inter-dimensional pocket of sorts." "As they arrived, the first Acae made clear to the others what had happened, and the deal they had struck with the CREATOR. The others, however, quickly turned on these first Acae; they all knew very well of the abhorrent, ape-like creatures that had been hitting each other over the head with rocks for no reason." "Filled with blind rage that the humans had been chosen over them, and that now THEY had to spend the rest of eternity masquerading as them, the other Acae grabbed for the first ones, and began beating them and tearing them to pieces." "When the CREATOR saw this, he struck many of the other Acae down, and saved the first ones. He scolded the species, and declared that as punishment, they would manage the multiverse in the servitude of the first Acae." "He then blessed the first Acae, and bestowed abilities on them: the ability to create strands of pure matter, and to weave it into vast, beautiful universes." "To the others, he gave lesser powers, as punishment for their crimes. They were given the abiltiy to manipulate these strands, but thy could not create them, nor destroy them. They were to use these abilities to maintain and control the universes weaved by the first Acae." "That was the last we have ever seen of the CREATOR." (continued below)
"Tens of thousands of years have passed since then, and given the resources the CREATOR provided us, we have reached a higher point of technology that we had ever dreamed in what we now call the FIRST UNIVERSE, the universe you currently reside in." "Those first Acae, who had struck the deal with the CREATOR, we now call the Weavers. Giant glowing humanoids, that look like color-inverted reflections of the beholder, and are constanly weaving scarf-like universes." "I, Tinragger, am one of the Acae, servants of the Weavers. I reside in the main hub of the Weaverse, a Dyson-Sphere like formation of districts designed around different styles of communities (see the model)." "Now this explains what we are, and what we do. But why am I here?" "Well, a few years ago, we discovered that our pocket-dimension is not the only one in existence, but rather one of countless infinite. Whether or not the CREATOR made the others as well, we do not know." "All we know is, there are many beings, and many species capable of traversing the interdimensional voids." "Dangerous beings." "I was sent here to monitor a group of pockets within a pocket, or at least, that's the best we can assume from our limited scans. The occurrences in this array of worlds seems to correlate with the creations of humans on a website commonly used in the FIRST UNIVERSE, called Scratch." "This cluster seems to be a breeding ground for potential threats to the Weaverse, and every universe we have made. So I was taken off of my regular duties by the Weavers, and sent to monitor this pocket, and report back to them about the current activities of any threats." (*)"Much like the politics of early 21st century Earth, ours were very much corrupt. We were destroying basically every planet we came across but ours."
