Use the mouse and adapt in the moment to dodge projectiles while making sure the gimmicks don't mess you up. How long can you last? Scroll a bit down for gimmick list (it is recommended you see the gimmicks before playing the game) Gimmick list: not yours: Follow the mouse, reducing the distance between you and the mouse by 10% every frame. patience: Only move to the mouse when a projectile is nearby. arrow keys: Move with the arrow keys, not the mouse. WASD: Move with WASD, not the mouse. orbit: Slowly orbit around the mouse, never actually touching it. opposites: Your position is on the opposite side of the mouse relative to the middle. y=x: Moving the mouse up moves you right, and moving the mouse right will move you up, same with left and down. up is down: Move with arrow keys or WASD, not the mouse, but your movements are reversed (W moves down and A moves right). mirrored across ?: The other of the designated axis is reversed. afraid of mice: Moving the mouse close to you will have you move away from the mouse. wait 0.5 secs: Warp to the mouse every half second. size up: You are 3x bigger than normal. where are you?: You are invisible. speed boost: You are 2x as far from the center as your mouse. far-sighted: Only move to the mouse if the mouse is far enough away from you. near-sighted: Only move to the mouse if the mouse is close enough to you, meaning you can only move so fast. shifting: You shift position to mouse every 0.25 seconds, lagging behind it. somewhere: You move randomly around the mouse. Odds of hitting a projectile increase the closer your mouse is to it, and the more of them there are. deer in headlights: Only move to the mouse if no projectiles are nearby. Scroll more down for tactics (it is recommended you only use these when stuck) Tactics: not yours & shifting: Move your mouse to where a projectile is. It will move out of the way before you can follow. patience & where are you?: Just focus on your mouse. You can only die if your mouse collides with something. arrow keys & WASD & up is down: Keep your keyboard close, so you aren't caught unaware. During which, the mouse should be in the center. orbit: You can counteract the orbiting by orbiting the mouse around yourself counterclockwise. opposites: Focus on you, and remember that moving the mouse down moves you up and moving it left moves you right. y=x: This is the same as a diagonal mirroring along the diagonal 45 degree line y=x. AKA, if you move the mouse up-right, you will move up-right. Same with down-left. mirrored across ?: Pay attention to the top left to see which it is and plan accordingly. Otherwise, same info as with opposites. afraid of mice: You only need to look in the general area of yourself most of the time. wait 0.5 secs: It doesn't matter if there is a projectile in-between the mouse and you, you will be safe warping to it. Use the period between warps to look for safer locations other gimmicks could not reach. size up & deer in headlights: Keep yourself as far away as possible from projectiles, and only look for gaps you know you can fit through. speed boost: Just look at the player and keep the mouse in the center. Lower mouse sensitivity for this gimmick if it is really giving you troubles. far-sighted: Try to internalise the distance at which the player moves to the mouse, and keep in mind you can phase through projectiles with it. near-sighted: Try to keep calm and not be so jumpy. Only move the mouse by a little bit. Lowering mouse sensitivity also can help. somewhere: Stay as far away from projectiles as you can, and try to only look at the mouse. If it will lead you to a safer area, you can phase straight through projectiles. Just keep in mind, doing so is a risk.
I worked on this is the background for no reason. Thought I would post this for now. If you want me to make a full version of this on unity, just put that in the back of your head for later this year. No reason.
