Plz go into the code and figure out how to fix my project, I need some help. Feel free to remix. Problems at bottom of instructions. (DO NOT PLAY THE GAME UNTIL YOU HAVE READ EVERYTHING) This is a platformer based on Ocarina of Time. |CONTROLS| COMPUTER Wasd/Arrow keys to move. Space to swing sword. Down Arrow/S key to Shield MOBILE Tap the screen in front of Link to move forward, vice versa to go back, above him to jump, and below him to shield. Tap Link to swing sword |TECHNIQUES| Swinging your sword lifts Link off the ground very slightly, so jumping right when the sword hits the ground gives you a very slight jump boost. While wall climbing, turning around exactly as you hit the wall and leaping off pushes you extra far; a wall jump. You can use your hat to hang off stuff, which looks cursed but is surprisingly useful. You can't walk while shielding. However, you can spam shield while walking. |GLITCHES| MINOR GLITCHES You can't jump in the tunnel in level 4 for some reason, but it doesn't really matter. Hitting or shielding lava, spikes, or saws will kill you when it shouldn't. Link freaks out if you walk and slash simultaneously. Also freaks out if you slash while in the air. Link appears farther down than he should be in the opening cutscene every other time. (SO MAKE SURE TO HIT THE FLAG TWICE EVERY TIME) The portal ball Ganondorf throws is supposed to look like a bolt. Link can end up inside the moving platform, simply by jumping onto the side and quickly turning around. The animation for the reverse slash is more chunky than the regular one and jiggles Link for some reason. MAJOR GLITCHES For some unknown reason, as soon as level 6 is beat, the game swaps it back to level 1, meaning since I have variables for the Deku Baba's behavior set for level 7, the Deku Baba does not do anything and cannot die. Also, the game cannot be beat, as as soon as you get to the end of level 7, which the game thinks is level 1, it skips you back to level 2. I literally have no idea why the variable won't change to a 7, PLZ HELP.
