Move your mouse to look around, use W, S, and Space to move, and use Q and E keys for MAGIC!!! You don't HAVE to play this game on a computer, but you probably should. Most 2D games are in first person, but they're from the perspective of a 3D person looking at the world. This game is from the perspective of the 2D person you're controlling, but the screen is stretched to be visible to 3D people. A 2D person's vision has 0 width, but they can understand what they're seeing since their brains don't evolve to comprehend width. To make it easier to understand what's happening, imagine that this game is from the perspective of a 3D person in a place where the ground has no detail on the Z axis. You can edit the map however you want. It's pretty simple, just draw in the sprite. Don't use colors in the costume editor, they won't be rendered at all. The colors being rendered are based on which sprite the raytracing sprite hits.
