♥ rainbow spirit - planning ♥ here's a sneak peek into my original planning notebook : Prologue: introduction, beginning of it all, not much detail Chapter one: Rhythm is introduced, Faye talks about her crush on Rhythm and how she wants to come out Chapter two: Faye runs into Rhythm, soon after, she finds out that someone knows her secret (rainbow streamer and note) Chapter three: more notes, confusion and suspicion Chapter four: whole school is called to an assembly, the teacher talks about not worrying but doesn’t give any details Chapter five: they find out that Rhythm is missing, the assembly finishes and Faye walks away worried Chapter six: Faye talks more about Rhythm, she starts to become depressed Chapter seven: Faye doesn’t want to do anything anymore, she’s kind of given up until she receives a text that says ‘opus est tibi’ (she needs you in Latin) Chapter eight: Faye figures out what the text means and realizes that Rhythm sent it Chapter nine: Faye decides to find Rhythm, and does some investigation and finds Rhythm’s address Chapter ten: Faye goes to Rhythm’s house, but she finds nothing there, except for a rainbow streamer (suspiciously like the one she found in her locker) Chapter eleven: more research, wondering, wishing Chapter twelve: Faye goes back to Rhythm’s house, where she finds more rainbow streamers in a trail Chapter thirteen: she follows the trail to a bus station, and decides to talk to the manager Chapter fourteen: the manager remembers Rhythm, even though she left over a month ago, because her backpack was full of rainbow streamers Chapter fifteen: Faye gets on a bus to Toronto, because that’s where Rhythm was last seen going towards Chapter sixteen: Faye arrives in Toronto, where she walks to her aunt’s house (who’s letting Faye stay with her) Chapter seventeen: Faye talks to her aunt about Rhythm, and she ends up coming out to her Chapter eighteen: Faye’s aunt accidentally outs Faye to her family, and Faye gets mad, so her aunt takes her out to make up for it Chapter nineteen: Faye’s aunt takes her to a restaurant, but Faye is so angry that she tells her aunt she’ll be right back and goes out to the alleyway Chapter twenty: FAYE FINDS RHYTHM!!!!!!!! Chapter twenty one: Faye and her aunt bring Rhythm, who’s cold and hungry, back to the house Chapter twenty two: Rhythm tells Faye and her aunt that she ran away from her abusive dad, and she explains more of her story Chapter twenty three: Faye’s aunt invites Rhythm to stay, and they settle into a routine Chapter twenty four: just as Faye and Rhythm are about to go back home, her aunt reveals that she’s moving to the same city where they live because of a job offer (she also comes out as asexual and lesromantic) Chapter twenty five: they go back home and part their separate ways, and meanwhile the town is celebrating because Rhythm is back Chapter twenty six: Faye’s aunt comes to visit her, and tells her that she found a person who wants to legally adopt Rhythm, but she wants Faye’s opinion (the person is a young woman who owns a farm, who actually knew Rhythm’s mom (Rhythm’s mom died, which is why her dad is abusive)) Chapter twenty seven: Faye meets Ms. Jewel, the person who wants to adopt Rhythm Chapter twenty eight: Faye talks to Rhythm (with much difficulty) and invites her to ‘her friend’s farm’ Chapter twenty nine: Rhythm visits the farm with Faye and Faye’s aunt, where Faye’s aunt’s friend talks about wanting to adopt a young girl around their age Chapter thirty: After weeks go by of farm visits, Faye’s aunt’s friend eventually tells Rhythm that she wants to adopt her, and Rhythm agrees Chapter thirty one: Faye and Rhythm become closer friends, and Faye starts thinking about how to tell her that they like her Chapter thirty two: Faye comes out to Rhythm as lesbian and trans (demigirl), and Rhythm tells Faye that she’s omnisexual and abrormantic Chapter thirty three: Faye is even more in love with Rhythm now that they know she’s part of the community, and she tries harder to get Rhythm to notice her Chapter thirty four: Faye talks to her family about wanting to tell Rhythm that she likes her, and they tell her to just do it (to help, they ask her aunt’s friend if they can visit the farm) Chapter thirty five: they go to the farm, and Faye ends up telling Rhythm that they have a crush on her Chapter thirty six: Rhythm is quiet for a while, and Faye starts blabbering about how it’s okay if she doesn’t like her, but Rhythm interrupts her by leaning forward and kissing her Chapter thirty seven: they go back to school on Monday, and at lunch, Rhythm sits with Faye (Rhythm asks if she can tell people that they’re dating, and Faye tells her to wait for a bit) Chapter thirty eight: after weeks of dating, Faye finally lets Rhythm tell her friends, and she does so that day Chapter thirty nine: Faye and Rhythm are somewhat bullied, but they’re happy, because the have each other Epilogue: Faye and Rhythm go on a date, and Rhythm retells the story of how she left the notes and streamers for Faye, but tells her that she didn’t send the text
