"Little girls with dreams, grow up to be women of vision." -Unknown "Let your little girl blossom into a ballerina." -Unknown ✻ ✻ ✻ ✻ ✻ ✻ This picture is a photo taken at the prestigous Vaganova Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia, which is the best ballet school in the world. To some, it may be a simple picture of three young girls, but to me, it represents the hopes and dreams of every young ballerina. Where are these girls now? Did they succeed in their careers after years of painstaking work to achieve near perfection? Or is all that remains of their artistic dreams, a ratty pair of pointe shoes, locked away in a box somewhere? I hope this blockshade is a tribute to all the young dancers out there who work so hard to achieve their dreams. ✻ ✻ ✻ ✻ ✻ ✻ I actually started this blockshade in June last year, but I've been so busy I didn't get the chance to finish it until now, lol. I blockshaded absolutely everything in this except for the barre and the floor.
