Ok so ive been putting this off for way too long im not doing a slideshow this time im lazy haha so, the thing that got me to look into this more is that when i was rewatching ca1, Blue says the same lines (with a minor difference) as what he says in his latest project. so, heres a giant analysis!! 1st stanza - Five bells lost- now show their face. Misery shimmers bright off the tepid moon. All shall derive from within this space- The shades of Saudade shall now commune. saudade noun: saudade; plural noun: saudades a feeling of longing, melancholy, or nostalgia that is supposedly characteristic of the Portuguese or Brazilian temperament. so, 5 bells lost- now show their face bells = crotal bells? the crotal bells are the only sort of important bells that we've heard of so far 2 of them are killed / imprisoned bc in a later stanza there is only 3 bells referenced. next, misery shimmers of the tepid moon maybe referencing the fact that blues derivatives were harmed before?? all shall derive from within this space - all new blue derivatives will be in possesion of the dodecahedron the shades of saudade shall now commune - this is what the definition earlier was for saudade is like nostalgia or melancholy or longing, im going to take the meaning as melancholy, so the shades im going to assume to mean past derivatives of blue, that were harmed / killed as it is melancholy to know that you were killed, even if in a different timeline. (and they commune) 2nd Stanza - Pragmist faith shows paths unseen (come on arachoys become pragmist!!!) so, what this means that since pragmist ideology can affect all derivatives, that could be an effective way to stop blue that is unseen. The lotus blooms in deepen'd Fen. fen noun: fen; plural noun: fens a low and marshy or frequently flooded area of land. so, this could be referencing Kai's ascension into archonhood which would be the lotus blooming the fen could be the fight between blue and xyliss. All shall revere the great machine - so like.. hes going to make us worship the machine?? idk for this line now marks the fall of the truth'd men- this marks the fall of the pilgrims, the true men, as the false men are a different race 3rd Stanza - ok, this stanza is a bit confusing as it uses 'we' like blue was once apart of the sordid folk, perhaps he was?? but we dont have an answer for that right now and i dont want to speculate so im going to ignore that for now sordid folk did roam these parts - you dont need an explanation for this, but this line uses 'did' instead of 'do', because of xyliss' death. heres a fun fact: sordid is actually a word! it means moral distaste and contempt, pretty fitting dont you think? we sought to commit a cosmic crime - perhaps avoiding heat death was a cosmic crime? reckless fools we sold our hearts - you sell your 'heart' to xyliss to join the sordid folk. was then we heard the 3 bells chime - this is what i meant by 2 crotals dying / being imprisoned, as the numbers of crotals has reduced from 5 to 3. 4th Stanza - Thrice the bells of fate were struck; - bells of fate = crotal bells so someone tried to kill the 3 remaining crotals, perhaps that person was blue? Bruised; Beaten; Battered; - describing the damage done to the crotals probably 4th Stanza (and a half) - Once was fate Twice was Luck But the third was all that mattered - this is what blue says in ca1, with one crucial detail, he says once was true, instead of fate and you cant say that this was for the rhyme scheme as both true and fate end with an 'e' and have 1 syllable. and the reason for this difference could be bc in ca1, blue does not have the dodecahedron, so cannot control the fate of his derivatives, merely watch, so the outcome is 'true'. but when he obtains the doecahedron, he CAN control the fate of his derivatives, so it is 'fate', even if it is welded by him to an extent. ok now back to the actual line. the first crotal harmed was FATE. the second was LUCK. but he was able to take control of the third somehow im guessing. et. UNIVERSUM. I BREATHE AND THE UNIVERSE QUAKES. - this is just blue flexing haha ok thanks for reading!!
