hello and welcome to my ☆ that girl series ★ where i will be informing you about how to become the best version of yourselves! just so you know, none of these projects in this series is about changing massive things, such as face shape, height etc. i believe that everyone is beautiful, but it does take a while to realise that. in this series, i will be explaining IN DEPTH instead of just listing things with no reason (like in my old account), so please bring a snack or something to drink while reading these! all these are poc, lgbtq+ etc friendly, just because someone is gay or is black doesnt mean they cannot be beautiful. i also highly recommend not using the term ‘pretty’ or ‘hot’ when complimenting people, unless you really reallyy know them, because to me (and some others) it doesnt give the same effect to when you are called beautiful. just a tip:) — — — working out can be fun and frightful. it can be challenging and easy. it can be tiresome and energetic. how do you even stick to it? well, i have a few secrets. for starters, why did you work out in the first place? to get a thigh gap? to lose weight? to gain muscle? use that to push yourself. while you are doing those sumo squats or the pushups, visualise yourself in those results that you will get. how would you feel if you got those results? pride, im pretty sure. confidence. and a gain of self love. second, how would it feel if your classmates or workmates or family saw your progress? our society is shaped into a thing where your are either fat or skinny, and can never change your body shape. well thats dog poo because i went from a square body shape to a hourglass. i went from fat to muscle. i went from weak to strong. if i can do it, you can too. if others saw you go from what i just went through, wouldnt they feel a feeling, where anything is possible? the main thing that makes us stop doing things is the phrase ‘icantdoit’ or ‘thisisnevergonnawork’. i could go on for ages telling you why thats wrong. glow ups. everyone wants one, everyone gets one. the one problem is, when? why does she get a glow up now i dont? why has he gone buffer and im still weak? why are they getting clearer skin and i still have acne? glow ups need a spark. like fireworks, you need something to light it up. you cant just expect yourself to glow up without doing anything. thats a common mistake. you need to WORK for it. if you just sit there it wont work. you need to work for it. have you seen those influencers on social media? the ones who post on their stories a cup of clear water in a pretty glass with a small text outlining the side of it? well actually, anyone can be like them. these influencers are either fake or real. real would take work. fake would not. if you see videos of them working out, or taking vlogs of their real lives, take that as a sign to start working out and trying a new skincare routine. trust me, inspos are the biggest reason why people want to workout. thats it! hope that helped:)
