hello and welcome to my ☆ that girl series ★ where i will be informing you about how to become the best version of yourselves! just so you know, none of these projects in this series is about changing massive things, such as face shape, height etc. i believe that everyone is beautiful, but it does take a while to realise that. in this series, i will be explaining IN DEPTH instead of just listing things with no reason (like in my old account), so please bring a snack or something to drink while reading these! all these are poc, lgbtq+ etc friendly, just because someone is gay or is black doesnt mean they cannot be beautiful. i also highly recommend not using the term ‘pretty’ or ‘hot’ when complimenting people, unless you really reallyy know them, because to me (and some others) it doesnt give the same effect to when you are called beautiful. just a tip:) — — — so we all the know the basic tips, the ones you see on tiktok, the ones that are said too often. well today, i will be telling you some very secret tips that work:0 when do i drink water? • the best times to have a glass of water is after you wake up, 2 glasses keeps you and your body awake. a glass 30 minutes before a meal helps digestion, super handy if (like me) have a super annoying stomach:D you can also take a cup before you take a shower, which lowers blood pressure and makes your shower stress free + enjoyable. and ofc, a glass before bed avoids two of the deadliest conditions, stroke or heart attacks. all together, you should be getting your daily amount! (plus more if you work out/it’s hot etc) can i rant? • yes, i rant all the time. the problem? its the people. they arent ‘caring’, theyre just nosy. i told all my problems to people i thought were friends, people i barely had spoken to, and guess what that led me to. eXposEd:O yes, all my secrets about health, my ethnicity, my family was out in the world. lesson is, tell your problems to about 3 people, your parents (maybe not), and a friend. plus a pet if you have one i dont want to lose them … • not everyone likes losing a person that they have met in their lives. no, i dont mean they died. i mean, when you feel real sus about them and youre on the verge of dropping or keeping them. well, what kind of sus things have they done? was it betrayal? hate? because those things shouldnt ever happen to a person. drop them, not everyone stays in your life for long. plus, its better having 1 loyal friend than 5 mean ones i wanna grow up already • no no no, stop planning the future and live the present as a blessing! my mum always told me to live life as if you were gonna die the next day. and shes not wrong, we dont know our death dates, so please, just live life to the fullest! trust me, once you start thinking like this, life would be so much more meaningful. childhood and teenage years are one of the best times of your life, think about it. adulthood would be nice but think about the b i l l s and m o n e y:/ i dont really like healthy • there are some yucky foods that are good for you (not worth it sometimes) but there are other healthy foods that do just the same! these include berries, bananas, dark chocolate, milk, watermelon, pineapple, raisins + so much more! you can check out my ‘healthy snack ideas’ project, or search up any healthy food ideas! they are super yummy:)) ew habits • habits actually take 21 days to create (a month)! just constantly do something small, maybe journal or do hand exercises, and then develop it into something bigger once its a habit. this could be working out, meditating, doing a hair or face mask. consistency is important how do i stay top? • school is stressful, but there are some ways to get your grades up significantly. first of all, try not to sit near or next to your friends, it creates so much distraction (me and my friend just laugh sm). my teacher did a good thing separating us, now we are both actually focused lol. take notes as well, bring a small notebook and write down key info that you know you wont be able to find at home. dont be shamed if you take notes either, it will help you soo much. attend all your classes, i used to bunk 30 mins off each class and miss so much work and i was very behind in maths. dont do what i did:pensive: and also try and go to school everyday. keep attendance up. if you have a stomach ache from cramps, is it really that bad? bringing some dark chocolate flavoured everything and orange juice will make you better. make sure you get sleep and energy, last year i used to fall asleep and starve myself (i was on t1kt0k for like a week from sleeping;-;) and that affected all my grades, was bottom in everything. i might have been smart them but i didnt use it, which led to me drooling in my sleep in english + use seneca learning and oak national academy when studying! (trust me) thats it! hope that helps:)
