The art is kind of lazy but I wanted to do another entry and shove a bunch of story in here. It takes up desc and credits... To make up for the lack of animation, here's a full blown story. To begin, here are the colors- Green- Jack or Jake, still deciding his name (the dtae character). His original name is Dave Purple- Prince Lucas (dream version) Warning- Darker themes Jake is in a family of like 8 kids. Idk exact number yet but you get the idea. He is the third oldest and the only one who didn't ever go to school. Although, all his siblings have to drop out of school after 8th grade to help make money for the family. Because of his talent to fight, his father didn't put him through any school and put Jake in his gang. At 8, Jake and his dad's "rebellion" decided to raid Light Magic's castle/capital. The plan was to blow up the capital to create "equality". Jake didn't know that this was the plan because his father knew Jake wouldn't go forward to help. Jake was tasked with putting the device that would destroy the capital. Jake was told this was a camera/audio device for whatever reason. When he set it in the place he was instructed to put the device, Jake realized what it actually was. The device was about to explode, which would of k*11ed Jake. The plan was to destroy the whole building, along with everyone inside Right as it was about to explode, Prince Lucas(ima just call him Luke), and a few soldiers found a scared Jake and an exploding device. Luke ended up using his magic to put a strong protection spell around Jake to protect the 8 year old. Luke is 14 at the time which means a spell that strong takes up most of his strength and magic. When the building blew up, it k*11ed almost everyone inside. Royalty and guards of the Light Magic kingdom have extra protection for cases like this so some of these people survived, including Luke, his sisters, and a few guards. Oh and of course Jake survived too Jake was hated by Light Magic and Dark Magic. He was hated by Dark Magic because he failed his job and helped Light Magic keep their bloodline. He is hated by Light Magic because he was the one who caused the tragedy, the d**th of the king/queen, and permanent damage to the Prince. Because of all this hate, Jake had mostly stuck to himself and his family and kept a low profile. He wears his hood in public to hide his recognizable scratched horns and he wears gloves in public to hide the scars on his palms that also prove his identity. So ya that was some messed up background Extra stuff Because Jake's father died in the explosion, his wife was left with their 7 children and one on the way. She never agreed with his job but she couldn't argue the money. She is a single mother working her butt off to afford everything her family needs. She is the sweetest person and works hard every day to protect her family Jake is the third oldest. The second oldest (Lily) is a kind and protective 16 year old girl. The first oldest (Rain) is 18 and comes off as cold, although she would do anything to protect the family. The fourth oldest(Jay), so one of the middle kids, is 12 and the only kid who will be going through high school and college. Even though she is one of the smartest people in the whole city, she is also very tough and enjoys rough sports Because Jake is the only kid who hasn't been through basic education, his older siblings and Jay are trying to teach him how to read and write. The younger kids are (this has changed so it isn't 100% accurate) -Blake(8) Quite and only opens up around Jake -Lucy(9) Very bubbly and will gladly be your friend -Vinny(10) Much rather animals and plants over humans but they are still really friendly Extra stuff outside family? Collin is light magic Ben is mixed magic (which is highly hated) Upon meeting Collin and Ben (mentioned in other dtae without names), Jake was still in a really rough spot. He was still trying to cope with trying to get a life back after the capital attack and making money for the family. He met the two when they were trying to find him to interrogate him about the capital attack. That was their original motive until they realized Jake was stealing and trying to not get caught. This ended in a fight Jake was easily able to win. However, he realized he was as bad as his father and was willing to explain everything to Collin and Ben. While they didn't stay in touch after that, Jake heard about a new rebellion starting near him around half a year later. Jake knew it wasn't going to be any better than his dad's but decided to go to see what they stood for. Jake was shocked to see Ben was the one leading it. The rebellion was called Eclipse. Jake saw Collin there too and went over to him. Collin seemed visibly unsure. He explained reluctantly that Ben had good intentions but didn't think the rebellion was going to end well. Jake agreed and this lead to Collin and Jake teaming up. Cont)
Cont) Not long after, Eclipse had grown and it became clear that it was no longer intent to create equality between both magic types. Collin and Jake wanted to create true equality, so they sought to take down Eclipse and talk reason into Ben Ben had gone mad with power and past trauma had lead him to hate Light Magic because of the pain it had caused. Collin tried many times to talk sense into Ben because Collin was the only person Ben fully trusted. However, this attempt failed like the many other. Collin was finally able to reach Ben at some point. Eclipse had grown so much hatred for Light Magic they would take anybody who had Light Magic and punish them in terrible ways, mostly leading to d**th. Collin was found one time by one of these Eclipse workers along with Jake who was notorious for "helping" Light Magic in the capital event. The Eclipse guards took them straight to Ben because of Jake's special worth of being impossible to catch. Ben wasn't very surprised but he also wasn't willing to kill his best friend. He told them to leave and he was giving them an amazing opportunity to live. He wouldn't let Eclipse bother them. This was Collin's last straw. Collin snapped and demanded why Ben was doing tis if he only wanted to help. This is what surprised Ben. He explained he wanted to feel control and be able to create a perfect world Collin and Jake are tied up tis whole interaction by rope btw While Collin is distracting Ben, Jake is able to burn the rope with his magic (which is typically a flame when he isn't doing any special spell). Jake confronts Ben once he is free from his ropes. Ben knows he cannot win against Jake. No one can, that's why Jake has never been caught by any bounty hunters. This is the beggining of war...
