OCs: Moonfeather @Moon_Feather Recolors were made up Minty and Berrythorn @jellyjam456 This is why I am anti/pro recolors. Okay guys, forgot to mention, it would be terribly awkward for you to recolor an anti-recolor project (and even more so to have millions of angry scratchers on your profile asking you why...), which many may see this as, so don't recolor. All Scratch accounts mentioned in this project are FAKE! Pay attention to the times that the characters get their messages. The difference in minutes is about how long recoloring may take. Guest appearance by Fireheart. He's doing better.
I quoted the Creative Commons page in there. Wow! I did my research! :D I had to look at the FAQ, CC license, and flame wars between recolorers and artists. If there was an argument point I didn't cover, tell me below. I'll add the main points here. @Zombiy said- "Well since the recolorers don't KNOW that their 'harmless' little slip-up might just cause a beloved artist to get stressed out and leave, we should teach them just how destructive recolors are to the community." An amazing topic point of the discussion, since it's true. I didn't think to add this, so thank you @Zombiy for pointing it out! ^^ - "I agree with you but the people who recoulor, i mean the original artist gets so so mad i feel bad for for them, if somebody recoulours, be polite about it...and also, what people should realize is that, people will remix your work, you can't stop that, i mean, this project is great grew but just...when you put your scratch project and share it, you can't get mad for people who arnt not following the community guildlines" Thank you for pointing this out! We as artists shouldn't yell, and we should acknowledge that the Community Guidelines allow remixes. The thing we can do, however, is ask and wait for an answer. :) said: "Recolors shouldn't be rude and they shouldn't be purposely offensive to the creator. They should at least be for appreciation, not for hate." Thank you for pointing this out! I didn't think to add it because I am going to cover it in a separate project about Trollcoloring, which is pretty much recoloring to be rude and disrespectful. However, this is a great point to make, thank you! suggested I add something about CC rules. To put it simply, only changing a small thing about an example. When an artist says not to use an example, it's usually because it's poorly made or because it isn't all that creative, which is usually what someone looks for in judging a CC. If you use the example, chances are you'll cause a fight or you'll be disqualified or you won't get a place in the top three positions. And it is a bit disrespectful to the person who asked. So yeah, don't use examples. ;) Thank you, ! said: "Little Fun Fact: Recolors that originated from art that is not under the Creative Commons license is actually illegal. Just throwing that in for anyone who is about to recolor something from dA." said: "Also, just contributing my one-cent here, you've got to remember sometimes it's a new scratcher who doesn't even know what recolors/ragecolors {ragecolors= what I call recolors just to anger the artist} are. So next time you see someone recolor something don't lash out at them. Don't feed your local neighborhood trolls by yelling at someone who could be a newer member to sc The OC's aren't necessarily my age, I just like Berrythorn as a 12 year old and Minty as an 8 year old. ^^ Music is Animal Crossing: 9 AM Who knew that Tacocat was a palindrome? Since remixes already include links... yeah, you don't need to do that part. This is mostly because I'm tired of useless Flame Wars on projects that truly don't deserve them. If you recolor, it's absolutely fine! If you're against it, that's absolutely fine! And if you change the original, then that's even better! This isn't saying that it's good to recolor, or bad to recolor, I'm just trying to help the artists of Scratch. Because, hey, everyone's a recolorer. I'm a recolorer. You're a recolorer! Every time you get out crayons to color a design you've made, you're recoloring yourself! I'm tired of the For/Against debate. If the Scratch Team agrees, them I'm, at least partially, with them. Come on, half of the kids here are 10 and younger! Cut them some slack! Anyways, this is my rant, whether you agree with anything is your opinion.
