Flicker ("Crimsonflower"): ☆ Firefly-cat thing ☆ 17 yrs old ☆ Cis Female (she/her/hers) ☆ Omnisexual ☆ Likes: Catching fish, bells, family, love, acceptance, her secret crush, her sister, peace, lights, art, festivals, others. ☆ Dislikes: Being alone, being abandoned, death, darkness, instability, uncertainty. ☆ Extroverted, but with a huge fear of rejection. Mari ("Hallowfish"): ☆ Short for Marine, Marigold, or Mariposa. Their mom was vague about it and said people could call her any. ☆ Firefly-cat thing. ☆ 12 years old. ☆ Demi-girl. (She/they) ☆ Questioning sexuality. ☆ Likes: Spikes, a little bit of chaos, freedom, cities, light and darkness, equality, their sister, their outfit, the smell of rain, fire, justice, ice-cream. ☆ Dislikes: Being told what to do, fish, being poor, being homeless (this is not reminding you of any particular shapeshifting character), inequality and biases. ☆Story☆: Mari didn't always live in this dump. Wait, who are they kidding? They always did. The city was beautiful. Shopping malls, apartment buildings, parks, ice-cream shops, all of it on an artificial "cloud". But they lived in the back alleys, along with the only remnant of their family, Flicker. And every day they'd have to go to the water together and fish, bring the fish back to the stall. They'd skin them while their sister set the business up for the day. It was their only source of income. Mari wished they could be a kid again, who didn't have to work, who had a mom, who could just be normal. Flicker was in the stalls. It was Saturday and Mari's day off, so she was doing the work. She hoped her sibling was off doing //safe things//, but with Mari you could never be sure. She absentmindedly nicked her paw with a knife as she daydreamed ways her sister could get into trouble. Her one fault was that she didn't think about all of them.
