You are one of a kind. Even if you have an identical twin, you are a unique person with a set of experiences, feelings and thoughts of your own. Your identity is yours alone - don't let anyone tell you who you are or should be. If someone has a problem accepting you as you are, it is they who have a problem with acceptance and tolerance. The human brain strives to find simple patterns, so people will try to define you by your achievements, your appearance, your behavior etc., but that is all in their heads, and you have no obligations to explain yourself to them. If you feel unsure of who you are, don't worry. No one is required to "know" their gender identity or be able to point out a specific group of people they feel attracted to, and it can change over time. There is no book of rules you can use to define yourself - we're all just winging it. In short, there has never been anyone quite like you, and there never will be, so own it!
