{Setting: Alternate Timeline Soleanna, All-Stars Bank} During the night, police sirens and gunshots can be heard inside a tall bank in a quiet street. Everyone working there had left for the night. However that wasn't everyone. Through the gunshots, two darkly colored collies emerged from a room each holding a pistol. One was female, and one male. The woman was carrying a small bundle that shifted in her arms every now and then. Female Collie: *ducks behind one of the walls beside the door they just came through. She takes off her mask and stares directly at her husband who also backed up on the other side of the door* Melvin, we should have never taken this job! this bank isn't worth it. Melvin: What makes you say that? *every few seconds or so, he fired through the open doorway at the police surrounding it* Female Collie: We have a son now. *clutches the bundle tighter* Melvin: ... *takes off his mask and looks at her directly in the eyes* We'll be fine, Luca. Were always fine. *he was lying, of course; he was almost out of bullets. He hoped that she would believe it* Luca: *her expression clearly shows that she doesn't* Please, Melvin. Let's just leave while we can. *she began to tear up* I just want to leave this life behind. Melvin: ... *looks like he wants to agree* I don't think we can just waltz out of here. I can make it to the other side of the room, and hopefully bolt away before they reload. You go with Otto and head down that staircase. *nods at the staircase behind Luca* Luca: *sees once again through his eyes, knowing that he would never make it out* I...don't want to leave you. Melvin: *smiles* I'll be okay. *leans in as soon as the officers move to reload and necks her, then pats the bundle on the head* Go! Luca: *bolts down the stairs, carrying her child with her. She looks back to see Melvin dash into the fray, and more gunshots are heard* ... *bites her lip. She places Otto in a cupboard* Otto: *starts crying* {Press Space} Luca: shh, Otto. It's okay. *to calm him down, she lets her hand glow a vibrant violet color. Otto calms down because of this* Mama's gonna be right back. *leans in and gives him a kiss on the forehead, before standing up, cocking her pistol, and charging back up the stairs* Otto: *watches her leave through the doorway, before overhearing voices* Melvin: Luca, Don't-- More gunshots. Otto cries more reacting to the sound, and the noise echoed off the stairway as the cupboard was recklessly left open. He cried more and more for several minutes, but no one answered.
