Quinn stood in the waiting room, he couldn't sit, he was just too nervous. He'd heard from his designers that this interview was going to be VERY different from the others. His ears flickered softly as he watched all the other tributes leave to do their interviews. Finally it was his turn, he took in a deep breath and walked forwards. He walked through the huge velvet curtains, and stood on a platform that overhung the hugest ball pit he'd ever seen. He adjusted the collar tux and jumped in, because of his height the balls in the pit only went up to his elbows. He blinked at the blinding lights and the roar of the crowd. "And here comes Quinn Underwood from District 12!" He heard the announcer roar over the crowd, Quinn adjusted his mic by his ear and turned to face the crowd. "Good morning Capital!" He'd roar, his ears flickering as he did. "Let's get going shall we?" His short tail lashed as he turned around in search for the special question balls. Quinn rummaged through the balls until he found a bright golden one, the moment his paw touched it, it exploded into golden dust, he blinked and a small piece of paper sat in front of him. He picked it up and opened it, he then read it out loud. "Do you have anybody worth winning for?" He read, blush filled his face and he didn't look out at the crowd though the camera drone swooped closer to his face showing his blush filled face on the screens. "I uh-... I do.." He said sheepishly looked out over the crowd "I may not have family, but I do have someone who sadly came here with me.." He paused, and someone in the crowd cried out "Who is it?!" Quinn chuckled softly "I met her the day I came here, in the training hall. Her name is Brair from district 4." The crowd awed and the blush filled his face even more. Quinn set down the piece of paper and shook his head, he went to search for more of the golden balls. He padded around for a bit then a smear of gold caught his eye, he turned to see one buried beneath many others. Like last time it exploded at his touch, spitting the piece of paper up at him. He caught the piece of paper and unfolded it, he read it aloud. "Do you think you will win?" He blinked and grinned at the crowd "I'm not going to be like the others and say yes, it's purely luck and skill to win in the arena. I might win, or I might lose. But as you all say, 'May the odds ever be in my favor.'" He then threw away the question and went to search for more, a couple of minutes later he found another one, this one however malfunctioned and he had to crack it open with pure force. He opened the tiny piece of paper and struggled to read the messy handwriting which he guessed was from a young kid. "What is your favorite color?" He read aloud, he smiled warmly "My favorite color is a grayish olive green." Instead of throwing the question away he tucked it safely inside his tux. He went to search for his last question and found it in one of the corners of the ball pit. He grabbed the piece of paper and opened the last question, he read it aloud. "What are you best at?" He paused "I guess I'm best at throwing knives, tridents, and it may shock you climbing and painting." He said, a bell dinged in the distance, signaling it was time for him to go. "I thank you all for this wonderful evening and hope to you all later!" He exclaimed as he walked off the stage, the moment he got away from the cameras he sighed in relief, nothing bad happened. He took off his mic and handed it to one of the stage hands and walked away. -End Well this was very fun to write! I hope it wasn't too long and I hope that you guys enjoyed it.
